One of the priorities of the MEDIA Sub-programme is to support audience development as a means of stimulating interest in and improving access to European audiovisual works in particular through promotion, events, film literacy and festivals.

The MEDIA Sub-programme supports over 100 European festivals every year that are notable for their particularly varied programme of European films, engaging with the general public and large numbers of professionals.  One of the priorities of the MEDIA sub-programme of Creative Europe will be to support audience development as a means of stimulating interest in and improving access to European audiovisual works.

This is the third time that Beldoks and Palić Film Festival received MEDIA support, while last year, within the second deadline for submission of project applications, another film festival from Serbia was presented – Free Zone Film Festival.
